Fall Back

November 4, 2009

Ahhhh….the Daylight’s Savings Time of the year is here yet again, and it never ceases to amaze me how it continues to sorta throw things out a bit.  Everyone should be pretty much adjusted by now, it’s time to “fall back.”  Interesting assessment of the time.  With the changes over the years in this hectic world of online enterprises, the “game” has forced our hand and I regret to inform that a major change is soon to be seen here.  It’s become increasingly chaotic, what with daily surges and resurging individuals, groups and entities prescribing to be authentic and of genuine business interest, when it’s as transparent as cellophane tape that it’s all just a facade and a hoax.  For the longest of time, it was all seemingly somehow under loose control; but as of late the lid has just been blown off the trash can.  It’s simply too much to stomach anymore.  Right now, just know a system is working its course, and what will be will be.  I’ve enjoyed the privilege of working with some really great people, and I’ve appreciated the genuine sincerity with which I’ve been spoken both to and about.  Fall has just brought a new course of action, and it’s no longer to be denied here.  It will all come to light very soon.

Congratulations are in order for the New York Yankees who won the World Series for an amazing 27th time tonight.

Marching To The Beat Of Our Own Drum

August 7, 2009

Change is essential to business.   The ability to adapt to change is critical to the success of a business.  The journey that urban modeling has taken is topic of lots and lots of conversation, both from within the industry as well as from consumers.  At times it does seem very bleak, and it’s common that there is speculation of promiscuity, deception and just outright lying from all facets of the spectrum.  The truth of the matter is, our business is no different from any other business that incorporates both sexes in the workplace.  There are going to be people who do the right thing, and there are going to be people that do the wrong thing.  By and large, it seems that the former outweighs the latter, but I’m resolved that there are still credible people out there with a real intent to make this a real business.

I set out over 10 years ago to create a business that would help both the people I worked with as well as myself to earn a decent living, and I am sure that I’ve accomplished my goal in that regard, however the ongoing challenges of continuation and maintaining continue to be a heavier weight than it sometimes seems fair.  I am resolved however to keep doing what I’ve done, and the personnel that work with me follow the same model.  It’s far more advantageous for me to dig down deep, work and fly low off the radar than to engage in frivolities that ultimately take me off the path of the goal, and that’s to continuously nurture something that has longevity far after I’m gone.  The changes that contiue to assail are not going to leave you, regardless of what you’re choosing to do in life.  Embrace them, conquer them and surpass them.  This is what we do.

We’ve begun a series of updates that will take us well into October as we begin to feature models from the June 2009 trip to London England, courtesy of Femelle Studios and Butterfly models.  Our solidarity will unquestionably be strengthened as time moves on, and in the process, you’re about to really enjoy some of the sexiness that the UK has been hiding for years and years.   Change is good people, make no mistake about it.

By the way, congratulations to SummerBunny Maliah Michel, the new Smooth Magazine “No She Didn’t” girl.

She’s back and she’s claiming the throne this time - check her out here AND at her site www.maliahmichel.com

Working Day And Night

July 31, 2009

I know it seems to have gotten quiet around here, but fear not.  There’s always something going on, it’s just more effective at times to fly under the radar.  The game has changed without question, and it’s ever challenging to stay within your visibility, but know that this is a front and center focus.  This blog is a further indication of that focus.  You’re seeing it here in the SB blog first - I’m very happy to present to you the first glimpse at the results of our June 2009 excursion to London England, as we showcase the intensity we’re about to bring, in conjunction with Femelle Studios and Butterfly Models:
